Experience
I am Certified as a Dyslexic Specialist for children with reading, writing and spelling difficulties. I am also an intervention specialist for children with disabilities. I have experience working with children with learning disabilities, ADHD, ADD, Behavior problems, autism etc. I was an interpreter for deaf children in the public schools and I am qualified to teach visual phonics a phonics reading program for deaf children and children that are non-verbal. I am interested in tutoring because I have witnessed the struggles that children have in reading, writing and spelling and the results of those difficulties. I want to assist children and adults in remediating the struggles that they have to enable them to be successful in and out of the classroom as well as to empower them to be life-long learners.
