I hold a bachelor's degree in Special Education from the University of Akron and am pursuing a master's degree in Adult Learning at Cleveland State University. I work as a teacher in a behavioral school, and greatly enjoy it. When tutoring, I see my role as that of a facilitator. I want students to seek information and answers, advancing both their knowledge and their reasoning skills. I believe that by encouraging logical thinking, I can prepare students to apply their skills and knowledge in future situations as well as to the material at hand. I offer tutoring services in Elementary Math, Reading, Writing, Phonics, and English. I also assist with ISEE test preparation. I most enjoy teaching Math and Reading. When I'm not working, I enjoy travel, basketball, reading, and shopping.
